1AtPlay: Charm
http://1atplay.blogspot.com/2013/08/charm.html
Thinking again.always gets me going in "A" direction. Started out as a simple pondering, anyway. What about a man's lack of it, or a woman's inability to recognize it when it happens? Men who have it may not recognize it, and women who recognize it may not know it. So, are we left with none? Should it be given or gotten? Is it just part of our nature, a gift if you will, that we all (women) find attractive? Or do some not? They don't look for it, it finds them. Women seek it. but don't even know it.

The past week was filled with patience.lessons in patience that is! As the days went by, the rain got stronger. I was becoming more impatient, waiting for another photo opportunity. My goal was to photograph clouds. There weren't many clouds coming my way. Just a more dark and gloomy emptiness that seemed to grow darker as the week progressed. I found myself growing more impatient as the sky got darker and the clouds were fewer. No photos of clouds and no photos of rainbows to fill a scrapbook with.

Ptarmigan Ptracks: Something Fishy
http://ptarmiganptracks.blogspot.com/2015/07/something-fishy.html
Sunday, July 26, 2015. Summertime in Alaska, and the thoughts of the citizenry turn to fish. Look here what's turned up in my FO net- -a school of fish! A fishing family of my acquaintance is expecting a new minnow, and I've long wondered if an adult hat pattern could be adapted to make a baby cocoon, specifically that cute Knitty fish hat. That looks like it's eating your head. What if it could eat a whole baby? Would they name him/her Jonah? Anyway, here it is:. Not a real baby. It's a stunt double.

Ptarmigan Ptracks: Finishing
http://ptarmiganptracks.blogspot.com/2015/07/finishing.html
Friday, July 3, 2015. Y'know what looks kind of ugly on a nice sweater? The back of the zipper. As Kate Davies demonstrated. The openings on cardigans are much better when ribbon or tape are added to reinforce edges and/or cover them. I've been meaning to take care of this on my Shepherd and Shearer sweaters. Alas, I don't have access to the fantastic haberdashers. Of the UK, so I had to beetle on down to the local Joann's. To see what I could find. Not a plethora of possibilities, but not bad. A retreat...

Ptarmigan Ptracks: September 2014

It's a phone bag for a friend who's always losing her phone in the bottom of her handbag. Nylon rope and a lobster clip attach it to a purse handle; a magnetic purse closure in the top keeps the phone from falling out by accident and slows down possible pilfering fingers. This whole project was such fun, I'm sure I'll do another one soon! Thursday, September 11, 2014.

Ptarmigan Ptracks: Winter Is Too Long to Drink Cold Coffee
http://ptarmiganptracks.blogspot.com/2014/12/winter-is-too-long-to-drink-cold-coffee.html
Tuesday, December 30, 2014. Winter Is Too Long to Drink Cold Coffee. Winter is too long to be drinking cold coffee. And tasty as it is when you make it with a press pot, you pour one cup, drink it, and the next one is only lukewarm. The British don't put up with this situation for their tea (even though their houses are sometimes very chilly). They knit up tea cosies to insulate the pot, ones like this. And the one I am totally going to make someday. Then the light bulb went on. Magnets! Off to the craft...
