Ro's Ramblings: June 2012
http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Saturday, June 02, 2012. Leadership is a funny thing. We think of leaders as the ones up front, forging ahead, being strong, always knowing what they are doing. At the moment I am being asked to step into various leadership roles, such as leading worship at church on a Sunday morning. This relates back to a previous post. My temptation is to look at myself and feel terrified as I do not at all feel up to the job being asked of me!

http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Sunday, May 30, 2010. Hi to any of you who still read my blog. I realise I haven't been posting very much on here anymore, and I know I often apologise for this, but I will do so again - sorry! A lot has happened over the last few months, far too much to catch up in one blog post. So, I won't even try. If you are interested in knowing more, then you can see the full gig listing over at Glyn's website. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Ro's Ramblings: October 2011
http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Sunday, October 30, 2011. So, I know it's still a little early, but I've already been starting to think about Christmas. I always leave buying presents and writing cards until quite late on, and so get a bit stressed trying to think of things in time, so I've been trying to be organised this year! 1) Science on Ice by Chris Linder (book). Go and read the full blurb! Or the amazon UK page. Jenny Rowbory was born in 1986 in Ashford, M...

Ro's Ramblings: The Great Adventure
http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2012/04/great-adventure.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Monday, April 23, 2012. So, last night was the night I finally went to see Steven Curtis Chapman live in concert at the Hammersmith Apollo. I had been excited about this for months as I have loved SCC’s music for years and have always wanted to see him live, but this is the first time that I’ve had the chance to see him live in the UK! SCC and Michael W Smith (who he was touring with) are both phenomenal musicians. I can also feel l...

Ro's Ramblings: Great Expectations
http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2012/05/great-expectations.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Monday, May 28, 2012. I’ve been thinking lately (dangerous, I know ;) about expectations, and what it means to live life as an expectant person. I have heard many times, that we should live full of expectancy. Also, it is often said that we should come to church with expectant hearts for what God is going to do – not coming because it’s “just another service, and it’s what I do on a Sunday”. 8220;So I say to you: Ask and it will be ...

Ro's Ramblings: May 2009
http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Friday, May 29, 2009. How cool is this.today Glyn sent me a link to a review he found that had been written about our performance at the Big Session Festival last Summer (June 08). Here it is! The bit on us is under "Lee's Saturday sessions", about 1/3 of the way down the page. It's not too bad :-). Wednesday, May 13, 2009. In the course of my procrastination, I discovered this. But also very very thought provoking too. I still do&#...

Ro's Ramblings: re:creation
http://ro-ramblings.blogspot.com/2012/05/recreation.html
Rambles mainly about faith, music and science (or a combination thereof! Thursday, May 10, 2012. As is the current theme at the moment, this morning I was reading something and it gave completely new life to a concept that I thought I understood, yet I find that I didn’t really at all. It is also pretty topical considering the baptisms at church this Saturday! This concept is recreation. It’s the topic of SCC's latest album. In the Bible says:. How crazy is that? But, when we hold firm to the promises of...

Music Around The World: February 2011
http://dazza68.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 27, 2011. I really enjoyed their recent gig at the Bull and Gate, which was just an outstanding night. It went straight into my top 10 gigs of all time! Every song was strong, with my only slight criticism being that they played my favourite number - American Tale - quite early in the set. I also particularly enjoyed their new song but I don't know the name of that one yet. I became so absorbed in watching them that I didn't even notice the venue filling up behind me.
