I’m happy to have gotten in a little time at my sewing machine at least. Phew. It feels so good. Wide Open Zippered Pouches. They are just so darn fun to make… and. Posted in sew it. Break the Cycle: Coming to the end of 2013
http://breakthecycle4them.blogspot.com/2013/12/coming-to-end-of-2013.html
Breaking the Cycle of Unhealthy Living for my Family. Friday, December 6, 2013. Coming to the end of 2013. Wow - this year went by fast. My oldest is graduating in summer next year . how the heck did that happen? I didn't get nearly as much sewing and quilting as I wanted. I didn't get to go on any retreats with my friends. I didn't even get much of a vacation with my kids - just a week in Michigan, which was more than fun, but more for my Dad than for me or the kids. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Grey Stables: August 2011
http://greystables.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 15, 2011. Sunroom before and after! Long post coming your way! Today I want to introduce you to our sunroom. It originally was a porch on the back of the house that the previous owner enclosed. It was intended, I think, to be a family room but since our house's "dining room" was eliminated when we redid the kitchen we decided to make it for dining instead. This is how it looked when we moved in. You can see it leads right into our kitchen. We love this room and use it all the time. It is S...

I'm going to try to make it up to you with a super thorough walk through our fireplace makeover! Ok, so most people like the idea of a fireplace in their home for either decoration or function. However many of us (somehow! PS Whe...

Grey Stables: Easy Peasy Herb Markers!
http://greystables.blogspot.com/2011/06/easy-peasy-herb-markers.html
Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Easy Peasy Herb Markers! I hope you enjoyed my little secret garden yesterday! Our neighbors all know they're welcome to go in there anytime and get some herbage for dinner. So I decided to mark everything a little more clearly for them. Then it was as simple as writing the names on the shims with a Sharpie. It's waterproof so it won't run in the rain and it didn't bleed into the wood tooooo badly. Now it's so much easier to tell everything apart. Thanks for stopping by! I was l...
