The amazing exploits thereof. About the Slave River. Sunday, June 1, 2014. The 2014 WWGP Swim Team. Before we move on to write about our summer trips I thought I'd write a post about the WWGP Swim Team. I (Natalie) got to watch and photograph every event and believe you me there was way more carnage than made it into the videos. Thus, I feel that it is my duty to get the word out. Who else will do it, and. isn't this what everyone really wants to know? Stakeout day before Stage 2. Time trials practice...

The amazing exploits thereof. About the Slave River. Thursday, January 22, 2015. My relatively arbitrary rules for adding a river to the list:. I'm counting rivers that I have kayaked in. Park n' hucks, park n' plays, aborted runs, etc are all counted. I ask whether I paddled in the river. If yes, it goes on the list. Black gore creek (fish ladders). Platte, south (denver town). Platte, whatever fork waterton is. Platte, whatever fork cheeseman is. Lake creek of ark. Clear creek, wf. St vrain, south.

The amazing exploits thereof. About the Slave River. Thursday, September 18, 2014. Tea Time on the Stikine. Last summer on a trip report of the Stikine, our friend Dave Spiegel wrote:. After being there and seeing this impressive feature I can say that the next generation surely is taking kayaking to the next level. Nouria didn’t run it to prove a point. She looked at the rapid and realized that she had the skills to paddle it cleanly, and that she did. I knew some people that paddled it and one that got...

The amazing exploits thereof. About the Slave River. Saturday, December 21, 2013. It seems like it's becoming a tradition for us to collect a bunch of nice mwave photos, then sit on them until almost the end of the year and publish a huge group of them at once. Here is a link to our similar post from 2010. Here are a few of my favorite shots, and there is a slideshow at the end with a lot more photos. First, one of my absolute favorites, which had almost nothing to do with paddling. A nice tight airscrew.
