My Journey To A New Place. This blog will chronicle my “latest project.” Some of you know that I get into “projects” from time to time. Like building my shed ENTIRELY out of scrap wood and other materials from left over construction waste that was to be sent to the local landfill. (No, I’m not a tree hugger, but I am efficient and economical! LOL) Or like buying a house at auction for $23K and remodeling it with my brother for a year. It is now one of my rental properties. From moving to another state, helping raise a child of a friend, starting and ending a job, a best friend’s double lung transplant and death, putting three deer in my freezer (yumm! I had a check up last week for baby Jack and so far everything is looking great and right on track. Heartbeat was around 150 and everything was measuring normal. Last year the kids woke up to find that a sneaky leprechaun had dyed our milk green and left a box of Lucky Charms cereal. Tuesday, April 23, 2013. 3 1/2 Week Update. Today Owen is having a couple tests run in preparation for his surgery on the 7th of May. Owen has been a champ though. He had to get another IV as well as a catheter. It was a lot harder now that he squirms and moves, but the nurses were amazing and got everything in as quickly as they could! Such a huge relief! Friday, December 28, 2012. Owen 26 Week Update. Just wanted to give a quick update from Owen's appointments the last two days and share a couple of new pictures with you! Yesterday, Owen had an echocardiogram done to check over his heart. This was a precaution since Noah was born with a VSD that closed between one and two years old.
