The Ireland Family: November 2009
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 4, 2009. October was a busy, but fun month! Can't believe it is already over. A little recap of our adventures:. Chad and I had a little overnight to Blue Ridge, GA. It was very beautiful, but VERY cold. We were able to take a scenic train ride. We were very thankful for sometime together (and for those who offered to watch our kids! Collin's "costume" was Superman and Ainsley was a flower. Pastor Mark and his family had a great trunk too! Cheesy smile #2 with Curious George aka Back ...

The Ireland Family: Three is the new twenty
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2010/06/three-is-new-twenty.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. Three is the new twenty. Reading parent magazines, I always like to look at the section that record the funny things that kids say. Collin is at the stage where he has questions about everything, and his perspective on the world is so unique. I thought I would just share two little stories and hopefully bring a smile to your face. God did. Who made the animals? He said, "God did? He looks so big! Blake just turned 3 last week. we NEED to get these kiddos together!

The Ireland Family: January 2010
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Friday, January 29, 2010. Our little old man/baby girl. For a couple weeks, Ainsley kept making these old man faces so I thought it would be funny to do a little comparison. Any resemblance? Winter Wonderland in Georgia. Yes, its true. It didn't last very long, and it wasn't the best for snowmen or snow angels.but we were able to make snowballs. Collin loved it, of course! Collin wasn't digging the snowsuit at first. Sunday, January 10, 2010. A nice, quiet Christmas. Not quite sure about this guy. Whatch...

Brayden was born in January, so needless to say, it was a long six months. And its hard when everyone else knows him.but you! Brayden says "Give me a chunk of that crazy hair of yours". Cousins by day, superheroes by night. Will you give me your hand please? Sunday, August 23, 2009. Almost all the cousins.Ains...

Friday, January 24, 2014. Fear and the Faithfulness of God: Part Two. The delivery day would be soon. I had already worn out talking to the doctors, nurses, my husband, myself. Yet,. I had not worn out God. I desperately needed His Word throughout everything, as there was grief and there was fear. And for those, there was comfort and there was promise- specifically this one:. I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears. Psalms 34:4. God reassured me, "Yes, those. In the face...

The Ireland Family: The God who sees
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/god-who-sees.html
Sunday, May 13, 2012. The God who sees. An unlikely mother's day present arrived today for me- -postmarked from the Lord. A reminder that I am His, I am loved, and I am seen by Him. Yes, I love the gifts from my children and my husband, but there is none quite like the one given by a Heavenly Father, who loves an unworthy sinner like me, and has called me His own. Blubbering, mascara all over my face, crying.and not over the death of my son, but over the lavish love that God poured out on my heart in...

The Ireland Family: June 2009
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 13, 2009. What's big brother up to? While the baby has received the most attention lately, Collin has not been just sitting on the sidelines. He has been growing up quickly as well over the last month! One of my friends mentioned how her son's vocab expanded rapidly after her baby was born, and Collin has done the same thing! The kids with Poppa and Mimi. Silly boy- loves to wear his stickers! Playing golf or "volf" as he calls it. Growing up before our eyes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Ireland Family: March 2010
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 28, 2010. Our blog has been asking me to be updated, so I thought I would grant its wish and stop neglecting it. We have survived the winter months (we've had snow three times! And we are rejoicing it is spring. After a challenging winter, personally, I keep coming back to the verse in Isaiah 43: 19, "See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up, do you not perceive it? I promise this the last picture with snow* I hope! Too cute not to include Collin with his "sno-bro". We are in trouble.

The Ireland Family: November 2012
http://theirelandfamily.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Whether in word or deed (or grief).giving thanks to God. In my flesh, it seems impossible. To the world, it seems impossible. I felt extra blessed- like I had been chosen for a special task, it was completely a miracle of God. And now that had been taken away, I no longer had that chosen role of "mother of twins". Why did we have that special blessing, that miracle, only to have it taken away? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Playing at the Park.
