Autour du monde en 175 jours: Maman! C'est fini!!!
http://zelisetdm.blogspot.com/2007/08/maman-cest-fini.html
Monday, August 6, 2007. It's also back to not knowing what to do with my time, to spending that time with friends, to playing the piano. Not too bad I guess. But I'll miss the constant moving around, the uncertainty of the day to come, seeing new and exciting things every day, meeting new people (though I'll admit we did less of that than we could have, we're private and introverted people, us) and just traveling without the stress of daily life. The stained glass is really nice, or so I hear.). It's a crazy, diverse planet isn't it! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://inuvikpm.blogspot.com/2007/05/hooks-and-barbs.html
Phil Morin's views from Inuvik - - see the full blog at Inuvikphotos.ca. Thursday, May 24, 2007. These antler and bone fishing tools are displayed in Inuvik's Inuvialuit Cultural Resource Centre. It's a mini museum and library which preserves traditional culture, and should definitely be visited by anyone coming through Inuvik. Look at the ages listed on the bone hooks! Also interesting is the inclusion of a "labret piercing," to be worn through a man's cheek. Thursday, May 24, 2007.

Phil Morin's views from Inuvik - - see the full blog at Inuvikphotos.ca. Sunday, May 20, 2007. Bird on a utilidor. These metal undulations belong to Inuvik's utilidor system; a pretty ubiquitous presence. Sunday, May 20, 2007. Are they a sewer system? Because I've never saw a bird like that in Poland. The utilidor's keep the sewer and water lines from houses warm so they don't freeze and burst in the winter. I like the site, I think you captured Inuvik well. Who is M.P? Is that Matthew Parsons? I am a gr...
