Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Riley's Pink Hair Highlights. I got a text at work today from Riley's daycare lady, Deanna. She wanted to know if she could put some washable pink highlights in Riley's hair. All of the "big girls" were having some pink strips done, and Riley watched the entire time and asked to have them too. The pink washes right out, so I, of course, said "yes". Sunday, April 12, 2015. Riley Jane worked on her first puzzle today with daddy. She is a big fan of Doc McStuffins and a 24-piece puzzle from Dollar Tree was well worth the money spent. On Tuesday we found out who their teachers were, and even though they were both bummed not to be in class with Maggie or Molly, they were still excited for Preview Night! So Thursday we headed over to East View first to meet Layla's teacher, Mrs. Szdorski. Layla was nervous, but very excited! Outside of the gym we took an updated picture in front of the eagle mural. Sunday, November 30, 2014. It has been a wonderfully busy weekend filled with family, friends, and food! Our Thanksgiving morning started out as usual with the Macy's Day Parade. The kids listed all the balloons they saw and marked their favorite ones. Lola and Papa hosted Thanksgiving again this year, so we headed over after the parade. Lola had everyone fill out a puzzle piece this year.writing what we are thankful for. We played some silly games and laughed until our stomachs hurt! It was a great day!

Monday, February 17, 2014. Our Valentine's Day was just another day with some extra LOVE thrown in :) Grace was excited to wake up to some little surprises and she was eager to go to Rosa's and celebrate with her friends. Earlier in the week Grace and I made some treats to bring to Rosa's house. If you look, you can see an excess amount of medicine in the background.
