The furniture reminds me of something…someone…. Knackered and ecclectic, with no real purpose, they have the potential to be anything, to be great, to be important, to mean something. All the elements are there. A table, a bookcase, a hat stand , a curiosity…only nobody has bothered to decide what they ought to be or how they will function.

I disconcert the Father/Son duo enjoying their meal across the room with my nostalgic smile as I eye-stalk their lunch. Partly to blame is Jethro Tull’s Sunday Feeling, currently filling my auditory orifices. My Dad introduced me to them, along with countless other bands (mainly rock and blues). Mercado de las Pulgas.
