April 19, 2010. I know, an odd way to start an entry about vacations, but those thoughts struck me as I was sitting here, contemplating a nice, full belly. It was my second – and final – meal of the day. It simply means you are forfeiting vacation hours because – why? Going to take what’s mine to take. April 12, 2010. I am not exactly sure WHAT it is that I am doing, but there is an import feature on this blogging site that will take an XML file that is downloaded to your computer and somehow upload all of that to this site. So, I did the option on the KCL site to export the entire blog to an XML file and now WordPress is “processing” the file and will “let me know when it is processed within 24 hours”. Well, I am writing about that on the Blogger blog, no need to go into it here. Saturday – More.

And then the cats came. Sadly just this one chick hatched out of a clutch of 6 eggs. A bit lonely perhaps, but oh so lively! Day 2: Hopping about like a champion already! Day 5: Out and about. Oh dear, Oscar transfixed already! The first honey from the Wild End - I'm just soooo chuffed! I got 4 jars out of 3 frames. crush and strain, simple. Wasn't that hard really (once I got the bees off the frames). Wild garlic - now in bloom! I'm sooo pleased with my boys! The donks were great, if a bit careful.
