Friday, November 18, 2011. I can’t believe we only have 10 more weeks until Kurt’s due date! My weight is up a total of 16lbs which seems like a lot to me but he said it is perfect since I should be gaining about 1lb/week from now on which would put me in the low part of the 25-35lb range they recommend! On 7/25/11 we were busy unpacking from our trip and catching up on errands and chores that we didn’t get to do over the weekend because we were gone. We started off the morning by attending a little Halloween event with some friends that they set up at a local retirement community. They had set up games and snacks for the kids and then the kids got to trick or treat and get candy from the people. Monday, January 23, 2012. Only a few more days until Kurt’s due date! This Thursday is his due date and I can’t believe it is almost time for his big arrival. We are so excited to get to meet and see our little guy for the first time. This weekend we walked 3 miles each day to try to encourage him but no luck yet. We go to the Dr. each Thursday and have an appointment scheduled for this week if he hasn’t arrived yet. At our last appointment we were already between 2-3cm. dilated so anything can happen.

Wednesday, November 9, 2011. Luke’s 2nd Birthday Party! I can’t believe our little guy just turned 2! His birthday was last Saturday (11/5) and his party was the same day! We decided to host his party at a local play studio and we think it went really well. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Luke started taking a gymnastics class in October and our 1. Session ends this week. Since Luke isn’t 3 years old yet his class is a mommy and me and we both really enjoy going. I have been taking Luke during the day while Mike is working but with Kurt’s arrival soon we have decided to switch to an evening class so we can both be there and take turns with Luke and Kurt. Friday, October 28, 2011. Today we are 27 weeks prego and yesterday was exactly 3 months until Kurt’s due date! I can’t believe how fast the time seems to be going by. We had a Dr. checkup yesterday and everything went well. It was just the usual – weight, blood pressure, measure my belly, listen to the heartbeat, etc. Kurt was kicking the Dr. again during the appointment which makes us laugh!
