April 29, 2008 at 11:02 pm Posted in casual observations. So I noticed that in The Jungle Book they draw Kaa differently in his two appearances. The first (his introduction) gives him rounder eyes set farther apart, while the second (Trust In Me) gives him the more recognizable appearance with tall eyes set next to each other. This second style seems to also be more expression-friendly. When you realize the two scenes you’ve been using as a drawing reference don’t match up. Sing it, Stevens. And a big Pa...

Time Change | The Observatory

September 6, 2008 at 6:49 am Posted in casual observations. 8230; it’s 6:45 AM, and I’m awake. This is not because I had to get up to use the restroom or had something rudely awaken me. No no, it’s because. Has technically become sleeping in for me. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Hey, maybe I’m a vampire…. May 9, 2008 at 11:43 pm Posted in casual observations. I just realized that the palms of my hands glitter ever so slightly in the light. I don’t know if they’re. Forgetting | The Observatory

https://theobservatory.wordpress.com/2008/05/16/forgetting

May 16, 2008 at 12:26 pm Posted in casual observations. I’ve noticed lately that adults, or young adults at least, seem to have this desire to pretend their teenage years never happened. My creative writing teacher, a graduate student, put it into words when she said that, as an adult, she found it embarrassing to be reminded of how life was like as a teenager because she could no longer relate to the feeling of being one. And if you forget that, then it’s your loss. Leave a Comment ».

Drink the water? | The Observatory

https://theobservatory.wordpress.com/2008/06/09/24

June 9, 2008 at 8:28 pm Posted in Analysis. This sort of thing initially led me to avoid Fiji because they don’t use the standard nutrition label and all I could find on the bottle was that it had extra minerals in it. That sounded suspicious. Forget for a moment that there’s this stuff called mineral water, because. Leave a Comment ». Feed for comments on this post. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. FLOARE DE MAI | Cenaclul ROMANTICII (Migdale Marius)

Cenaclul ROMANTICII (Migdale Marius). MARIUS - The...

Girl on a Train. March 2, 2009 at 1:21 am Posted in casual observations. For some reason I noticed all this through reading Watchmen. Maybe because they were mostly non-visual. I also remember someone eating something very strong-smelling. Not in a bad way, but noticeable. There was a guy across the aisle eating ramen, but I don’t think it was him. For some reason I wanted to write about this. It’s just odd the multitude of little things you notice throughout the day. Write out the paper before the paper?

27 62 071 4258. Under scorching sun, the rugged Swartland soil shapes a rising star in handcrafted wines The Observatory Cellar. It gets swelteringly hot under these great expanses of sky in the Swartland in summer. Hot and parched. Which makes it all the more miraculous how our bush vines have survived years of minimal attention and are now yielding once again with promise. The 18 hectares (44.5 acres) of vineyards are dry-farmed, low-yielding bush vines mostly grown on the upper slopes of the Paard...
