We are the odd folk. How NOT to be in a band! Thursday, 24 July 2014. The road to St. Agnes and turn right at the seven mile long garage! It was the deputy bass player and I was baffled. A seven mile long garage! Follow me" he said and disappeared into a blue transporter. No wonder they have a seven mile long garage here; it must be to house all the cars in the village when they break every morning! He says, leaning out the window. "You don't say! The road leads down to a beautiful old cottage clad in iv...

Although we do have a pretty nifty little reggae song on the cards these days! Now where were we? We left you hanging I seem to remember! The next morning the piano player returned to the wrong festival, ...

We are the odd folk. How NOT to be in a band! Tuesday, 20 January 2015. An old friend of ours and long time fan recently commended us for our improvements in the last year, noting that we'd become a well-oiled machine playing really good music, as opposed to the "passionately ramshackle" quintet that get things horribly wrong but have fun along the way. It seems that ever since our debut film, How NOT to be in a Band. Long gone are the days of leaving chainsaws on the train and fashioning branches into m...

We are the odd folk. How NOT to be in a band! Thursday, 29 May 2014. The May Day Tour! The good old days. Am perhaps a little premature in concluding our recent months activities before they've finished, but I am confident I can predict the 9th and final gig that takes place tomorrow evening in Dartington Hall. Our previous guise that consisted of myself, the guitar player and the piano player! Played on a keyboard. The drums? They effectively bought them on blind faith! The Latest Music Bar. In Brighton...

Sea Salts and Sail Festival. This year we will be housing many of our stalls under open-sided marquees along the South Quay. As people wander along the quay looking at the classic wooden boats they will be able to browse the stalls there. We have always been very proud of the variety and quality of the music on offer at the Festival. Bands confirmed as joining us this year are:. Mousehole Male Voice Choir. Pip Wright - Dawn Chorus. We can tempt you with. Fresh cakes and sandwiches. Other things going on.
