Friday, May 2, 2008. I have been coveting a convertible at a local used car lot. It's an adorable, little, white car. Long story short.it was too much money. We couldn't justify the cost.boo hiss! We took it for a spin and brought it home the next day! My friends call it their "Thursday night car"! I am trying something new. I just became a Silpada jewelry rep. Saturday, March 29, 2008. The kids get put to bed between 8 and 8:30 every night. When Doug and I finally go to bed we sometimes have a visitor in our bed. The other night, Trey got out of his bed and snuck into our room. We found him sleeping in our bed with the lights on.stinker! Dogs and Pigs and Bears.Oh My! Kenyon was the only one to get her face painted. I opted for the clown face.too cute! They had poodles dresses up in costumes and they were part of a magic act. The costumes were hysterical.

Monday, August 25, 2008. I can't believe my baby is in kindergarten! This is Kayton's first day of Kindergarten. She is wearing a name tag so that everyone knows she is in Kindergarten and can get her to the right place. Here comes the bus and she is waiting with some other kids to get on. She was so proud of herself. The bus driver asked if she was in Kindergarten and she nodded and he told her to sit in the front seat. Here she is on bus 910, she was smiling and waving to us and then she was gone!

Thursday, January 31, 2008. Kayton donates her hair. So Kayton is quite the philanthropist. She has been growing her hair for 2 years to donate it. This is the second time she has done this. Friday, March 13, 2009. Kayton's class had a program for President's Day. It was really well done. They sang a bunch of songs, and then some kids came forward and had speaking parts. Kayton had one and she said "This day honors two of our greatest Presidents". She did great! We practiced her lines and songs for about 2 weeks! There was a power point show that had pictures of all the presidents. One picture morphed into the next. After we left the school, I asked Kenyon who our president was and she yells.

We had a very eventful move-in weekend. 1 Our mattress delivery got cancelled (fortunately my threat of cancelling the order not only got the mattress delivered - but we got a discount. Woo Hoo! 3 Our brand new - freshly painted walls have several very pretty scuff marks in them. :-). 4 Our power was out for several hours on Sunday. Here are some pictures of the house currently. Moving to the inside! The majority of the exterior house is finished, with the exception of a few shutters here and there, and lights, etc. Now they will begin with the drywall, the flooring, and cabinets.
