Pantansina is 14 KM from the province town of Imperia, a town made up of two towns, Porto Mauritio and Oneglia. The two communities were combined by il Duce (Mussolini) during the 1930's. There is none of the mass tourism generally associated with the Mediterranian, most visitors being discerning Italians. The Old Watch Tower 2012.

Old Watch Tower, Pantasina, Liguria, Italy. The Terrace views are quite spectacular with views down to the valley over olive groves to the sea and on clear days right across to Corsica. There is also a large street level cantina (cellar) which has on one side a laundry room with washing machine etc. On the other side is the cave room for when it is too hot outside, or a quiet drink in the evening.
