Friday, September 11, 2009. September 11, 2001: The day I became a man. Ere being told that their parents had died in this horrible tragedy. Was their going to be a war? If so, were they going to reinstate the draft? Maaan, I just. I knew that selective service was some BS on my FAFSA! Ironically enough, a day before I visited the AFROTC office because I was knocking around the idea that college wasnt for me. May we never forget. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, December 9, 2009. I know it's been a while. I got a life that took over my blog and forced me to rant in public (amongst friends and friends of friends). Shit happens, get over it. I'll start in order? The KaBlAsian that plays golf? How many ladies are mad they missed out? I know you are. You with the red shirt on, you saw him in person a few years back. It could've been you. Oh well. Ladies, on the list of potential celeb. Where does Tiger Woods fall? Between George Clooney and Bokeem Woodbine.

The Soul of a Champion: Being (a) Black (man) In America - RIP Trayvon Martin
http://soulofachampion.blogspot.com/2012/03/being-black-man-in-america-rip-trayvon.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. Being (a) Black (man) In America - RIP Trayvon Martin. After the 2008 Election of President Barack Obama, there was this euphoria amongst many Americans. The euphoria led some to believe, if for a short while, we live in a post-racial America or a post-racial society. Of course, soon after ignorance reared its ugly head and we realized nothing had changed at all. This presents a problem. I looked him in the eye and replied angrily ".because I'm on the fuckin team! This is not OK.

The Soul of a Champion: January 2009
http://soulofachampion.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2009. English Only: Racism with *new* 21st Century Flavoring. In an effort to allegedly unite Nashville with a common language, Eric Crafton has drafted the English Only amendment. Passing this bill would make English the official language of Nashville, TN. Why is that bad? To serve those who don't look like you or speak your language. This is not an effort to endorse learning the english language. This is not an effort to unite Nashville. This is RACISM. ...Bible belt my ass.

The Soul of a Champion: I am Oscar Grant...
http://soulofachampion.blogspot.com/2010/07/i-am-oscar-grant.html
Friday, July 9, 2010. I am Oscar Grant. From January 9, 2009. After the several cases of police brutality against Blacks here in America with little to no conviction I came to a shocking revelation: I am Oscar Grant. I am Oscar Grant, Trevor Casey. Sean Bell, Johnny Gammage, Ousmane Zongo, Nathaniel Sanders II, Amadou Diallo and even Mike Brennan. An African-American teacher beaten by two off duty officers in Austria as he exited a train. I am a nameless faceless individual who, sadly stands a chance...
