It's A Wonderful Life
It's A Wonderful Life. Sunday, July 24, 2011. Five Springs and Family Time. Last minute travel plans brought us to Wyoming in July instead of August. After a hard drive straight from Texas, we were ready for some relaxing family time. Family Home Evening Monday found us at Five Springs Campground for a hot dog roast and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed a short hike to the base of the falls. The boys enjoyed giving their mother gray hairs as they climbed every rocky mountainside they could find. Pink and pur...

View my complete profile. Making The Best Better. Friday, May 21, 2010. Making The Best Better. I was excited that the International Symposium on Beef Cattle Welfare was held in Manhattan this week. It's not everyday you have an international conference on beef cattle issues in your backyard (figuratively). It was great to see cattle producers working to make cattle welfare practices even better. The highlight for me was listening to Dr. Temple Grandin. In recent years as part of her latest book and HBO.

Sunday, 17 May 2015. 8 days in May. With a concentration of races not seen for myself since 2011. Early May threw up some events that were too good to miss. Sun 10 May: Great Manchester 10k - 39:06. The aim of the game here was to break the 40 minute barrier, a time that had been eluding and annoying me for a couple of years. I can't say I enjoy runs like this, I acknowledge the skill required to run well on the flat but give me some hills, variation and route choice any day! The prospect of doing essent...
