Sticky Lemon Cake | The Ordinary Cook

http://theordinarycook.co.uk/2011/02/14/sticky-lemon-cake

PR Queries and Privacy Policy. Stem Ginger Truffles →. February 14, 2011. This a lovely cake, intensely lemony and sticky. I first made it back in 1999 for my mum on Mother’s Day. It was a recipe in the Tesco Recipe Magazine in March 1999. This would make the cake even lighter. It worked. This cake lasts a couple of days in a tin, so is perfect to keep cutting into. Finely grated zest of 3 lemons. 1 tsp baking powder. Juice of 1 lemon. Juice of 2 lemons. This entry was posted in cake. Oh go on you know y...

PR Queries and Privacy Policy. Salted peanut butter brownies →. June 4, 2015. Five Quarters, Recipes and Notes from a Kitchen in Rome, Rachel Roddy. Look what I have! I have been waiting for this book for six years. I found Rachel’s blog. The more I read, the more I want to read. I kept asking when she was going to write all of this in a book… and here it is. So tonight, the tea might not get cooked and the husband might get ignored. I will be reading. This entry was posted in The Ordinary Cook. Kath, th...

hazelnut biscuits | The Ordinary Cook

http://theordinarycook.co.uk/tag/hazelnut-biscuits

PR Queries and Privacy Policy. Tag Archives: hazelnut biscuits. June 23, 2015. These cookies came about because I love peanut butter. I eat it off a spoon straight out of the jar. I felt like making peanut butter cookies. But because I like it so much there is not enough left in the jar to make biscuits. I did have a bag of hazelnuts in the cupboard though. I am pleased that I didn’t have enough peanut butter as these are really, really very good, chewy and dense biscuits. 50g butter, softened. Caroline&...

Chocolate orange marble cake | The Ordinary Cook

http://theordinarycook.co.uk/2011/01/07/chocolate-orange-marble-cake

PR Queries and Privacy Policy. Spelt, almond and chocolate biscuits. Cinnamon waffles →. Chocolate orange marble cake. January 7, 2011. I have been craving something chocolatey and orangey for a few days now. I can’t explain this craving beyond I often crave something choc orangey, or indeed choc coffee-y or choc cherry-y. You get the picture. To make it extra special I have covered it with ganache, as this makes it more suitable for dessert it seems to me, but this cake is good just plain and unadorned.

Chez Danisse: In the Middle of It All

http://chezdanisse.blogspot.com/2015/04/in-middle-of-it-all.html

Monday, April 27, 2015. In the Middle of It All. Dancing Above the Garden. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. The weather in San Francisco seems to have retreated back to winter. I'm wearing a puffy jacket and sitting in an ugly little cafe with great coffee and a barista with eclectic taste in music. When I sat down it was Redbone's Come and Get Your Love. And now Blondie is purring ooo,. His music makes it feel good in here. I don't care. A huge loud truck is idling just outside the door. Earlier today, about a ...

Fancy bread: October 2011

http://sticklebackbread.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Monday, October 31, 2011. Another influence of the Great British Bake Off on me here. One of the challenges is always to create a set of things - they might be iced buns, cupcakes or mini-pies - and one of the objectives is to get uniformity: they should all look the same. PR Queries and Privacy Policy. July 23, 2015. The girls have broken up from school and seven weeks of freedom stretches ahead of them. What halcyon days… I remember them well, the sheer loveliness of being able to roam and suit myself and the sun always seemed to be blazing. We will be baking and cooking, I just won’t have the time to tell you about it. June 23, 2015.

How do you approach that? Sure, of course since they are family you are willing to let them borrow you money because since you are family you expect them to “borrow” it and therefore give it back to you in a timely manner, but what do you do when they ignore you or just have every excuse in the book to not pay you? Anyways, a good point to this is everything heals with time. Just remember that 🙂. What do you do when you always find yourself to me in the middle of some sort of drama? Follow me on Twitter.
