Thoughts on Escaping the Ordinary. September 4, 2016. Making Money Online: Blogging. April 6, 2010. After I graduated from college, Jay and I thought we would try to make a living off of doing something we’d been doing for free all our lives: writing. The first site we started was a local restaurant review blog. The thinking behind this was that we could go and try out new restaurants and different kinds of cuisines, while at the same time writing about it. [Read more.]. Filed Under: Our Work.

Thoughts on Escaping the Ordinary. September 4, 2016. When You’re Tired and It’s Time to Work. August 22, 2013. My first topic now that we are back. Finding the Time to Work. Is Going Part Time Again or Quitting Outright an Option? But, I’d like to save this leap of faith topic for an upcoming post. For now I’m just trying to focus on finding the time throughout a hectic schedule to devote to working on the business. Does anyone have any tips on working through being tired and toughing it out? Things sta...

Thoughts on Escaping the Ordinary. September 4, 2016. Saving Money as a way to Escape the Ordinary. March 8, 2010. Part of our plan for escaping our ordinary lives has been to reprioritize the way we spend money (spending less on unnecessary expenses and more on travel/new experiences). This has been especially important right now because of our new job situations. This has meant cutting expenses because we’re not bringing in as much in as we once did. Community theater, nature preserves, local museums, ...

Thoughts on Escaping the Ordinary. September 4, 2016. Tips for College Freshman that Everyone Should Follow, at Any Age. September 23, 2011. Surfing around on the internet the other day, I came across a discussion on advice for college freshman moving into dorms for the first time. I think it is more about the general attitude of being open to new thi...

How do you approach that? Sure, of course since they are family you are willing to let them borrow you money because since you are family you expect them to “borrow” it and therefore give it back to you in a timely manner, but what do you do when they ignore you or just have every excuse in the book to not pay you? Anyways, a good point to this is everything heals with time. Just remember that 🙂. What do you do when you always find yourself to me in the middle of some sort of drama? Follow me on Twitter.

They say life gives us mistakes. So that we may learn and prevent. To be keen for our future. And make up for time spent. And they say life breaks us apart. Every now and then. A sense of community for the Childfree, and how family gatherings have changed since I was a kid. May 10, 2015. My husband and I have been talking about how we would love to have a little childfree klatch. People we can go out with and chill with whom we know won’t be talking about.
