Sunday, December 23, 2012. Our little red wagon project. So we found an old rusted wagon in the backyard that we believe that Tanner's dad played with when he was younger. So Tanner and I took this project to refurbish it for Jett. The original name was The Speed Queen. We looked it up and we found an AD for the washing machine The Speed Queen and in the AD it stated that with purchase of a washing machine you get a Speed Queen wagon. Posted by The Magnific Mackeys. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Last Saturday, we decided we needed to get out and enjoy all this great California weather. So we went on a hike. This hike was 2.5 miles straight up and 2.5 miles straight down. Jett loved it, he said awake the whole way up and then took a little nap on the way down. My calves hurt for a whole week. We made it half way through our first winter in Montana and jumped at the chance to vacation with the Loves in Mexico. Although the MT winter has been very mild this year, it was still nice to get away from the dead grass and chilly winds. Aside from a minor hiccup at the beginning (overnight in Seattle and a visit to the Aquarium! All travel went smoothly. A week in sunny Mexico was ours at last! At the end of January I was able to make a solo escape to B.C. for a ski vacation with my dad and Uncle Mike. I'd never been to Whistler before, and it was amazing! Now that Ben is sitting on his own (and he just started crawling too! He has graduated to the "big boy" bath. I think it his most favorite 15 minutes of the day. Splashing around and being on his tummy. We are 7 weeks away from the big move to Montana, and our excitement is building. We are ready for some adventures in the west, with a babe on our backs.
