先日３日間にわたり、オランダ・ユトレヒト大学 名誉教授であり、「教師教育学」の先駆的な研究者の一人であるフレット・コルトハーヘン先生のワークショップの通訳をする機会をいただいた。 私は以前から、「通常教育」と「特別支援教育」があまりにも別のものとして語られることに違和感を感じていた。 例えば特別支援教育のためには担当教師には「特別」な専門性が必要とされており、いわゆる「障害」のある子どもの教育を担当するためには「特別」な教師教育が必要とされている。 が、私は「障害」についていくら知っていても、そもそもの教師としての専門性を持っていないと意味がないと思っている。 つまり、その対象がだれであっても、教師には共通する教え手として必要な「専門性」がある。 それは 「教育の本質は障害があろうとなかろうと変わらないはずだ」. 通常教育の研究者・実践者にとっては「特別支援教育」は他人事になってしまう場合が多い。「障害のある子どもの教育は自分の領域じゃないんで。。。」. そして、最近よく思っていた「教育とは自分と向き合うことだ」とまさに繋がった。 教師教育者は、ただ「理論を教員志望者に伝える...9726;ᥧ...
