Sunday, January 27, 2013. I hate to do this, but this will probably be the only post chronicling Owen's 2nd year. In my defense I did put together an 80 page photo book that covers most of it in detail, so we'll be able to look back at the highlights. So here's year two - the speed version. At his 2 year check up he weighed 34 lbs 10 oz and was 37 and 7/8 inches tall - off the charts on both counts. Some other of Owen's favorites are:. Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood and Super Why (Super Readers to Owen).

Friday, May 13, 2011. Thirteen Months and Walking! At thirteen months Owen is 30 pounds and 33 inches tall - good thing he started walking a few days after this picture! His new favorite thing is to throw his ball. We've seen a lot of this the last few weeks. Owen's generally a happy boy, but he has started exerting his independence. The temper tantrums are happening more and more often when he doesn't get his way. I'm trying to take more pictures of one of us in the photo with Owen. Links to this post.

It takes some time getting it going and simmering time, but it is so worth it! 7 tsp olive oil, diveded. 1 1/2 cup chopped onion. 1/2 cup chopped carrot. 1 tbsp minced garlic. 1/4 c all-purpose flour. 2 lb boneless chuck roast, trimmed and cut into cubes. 3/4 tsp salt, divided. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1 cup red wine (I just used beef stock for this). 1 large can chopped tomatoes.
