Welcome

Where it all started in 1965. NW side of Chicago. Steve's house in the basement). To the best of our knowledge there were three other groups sharing the same name in the mid '60s: Randy Holden's band of "Mr. Pharmacist" fame from San Francisco, Kirby Bivan's group formed in Skokie, IL in 1965, and another organized in 1964 at Hartwick College, Oneonta, New York. Although we may have heard the Skokie-based group promoted on the radio one day back in 1967, it's amazing we never crossed paths.
