Tuesday, May 6, 2014. 18lbs 12oz. at his last doctor visit! 12 months, some 18 months (depending on the brand). Every 3-4 hours, plus 2-3 tablespoons of oatmeal after lunchtime bottle and a jar of baby food after dinner bottle. This has been a big month for Calvin and exploring the new world of food! He loves to sit in his highchair and eat like mommy and daddy. So far, he eats oatmeal, apples, green beans, squash, carrots and bananas. He likes everything so far! Here are some recent photos.

Friday, October 3, 2014. 24 months and 2T. Three 9 oz. bottles during the day, followed by 1.5-2 tablespoons of oatmeal and a jar of prunes for breakfast, a fruit for lunch, and a meat with a vegetable for dinner. He caps the night off with usually anywhere from a 3-5 oz. bottle just before bedtime. Calvin is doing great with small pieces of soft foods like bananas, cheerios, diced apples, carrots, and avocado. He has become quite the fruit lover, watermelon specifically ;). We were having computer issues! 16 lb 12 oz (35th percentile)- doctor thinks he has been more interested in playing than eating so she's not worried about the slow gain. 26 7/8 in (70th percentile). Eats every 2.5-3 hours. Has been waking up around midnight and 4 am to eat (I'm hoping this stops now that we are eating solids! Just started solids. Has had oatmeal cereal and sweet potatoes. He seriously smiles ALL THE TIME! His grin is the best!

Sunday, August 16, 2015. How do we have a one year old? 23 lbs (76th percentile). 32 inches (99 percentile). 18 month clothes. I'm trying to squeeze him into 12 month still but it's not really working! Finally have my 2 top and 2 bottom teeth! No longer drinking bottles! Loves milk, but not the biggest fan of table food. I think it has more to do with texture than anything else. He started just after he turned 11 months and hasn't stopped! He loves to chase after his brother! We love you Connor James!

Saturday, December 27, 2014. 35 lbs (97th percentile). 39 inches ( 97th percentile). His vocabulary has grown so much in the past couple of months. He is starting to talk in sentences; he repeats a lot of what we say. If we don't understand what he is trying to tell us, he will try to come up with a way to show us or say it in a different way. He is definitely stubborn! If he does not get his way, he will throw a fit or throw something at you! He goes to school 2 full days a week and really enjoys it!

(I'm still trying to squeeze him into 9 months though! Eats 4 8oz bottles 4 times a day. Eating a jar of baby food in the morning and 2 jars at night. Sleeps from about 7:30pm to 7:00am. Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Brooks wanted a turn during the photo shoot! A little over 22 lbs. I have 1 top tooth and may be getting another one soon. Eats 4 8 oz bottles a day with stage 3 baby food for breakfast/lunch and 2 jars for dinner. Still picky about textures so slowly moving into real food. So close to walking! Will stand on his own and take a couple of steps. He has crawled straight into the pool and ocean and didn't care that the water was over his head. Family golf cart ride on our beach trip.

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. A little over 18 lbs. Eating 6 oz bottles every 3 hours (no more nursing! Started solids this month. He doesn't love oatmeal cereal, but has loved everything else he has eaten. He has had sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, and bananas. Usually eats one jar at night. He has just started sleeping through the night again! Fingers crossed it stays this way! He usually goes down around 7:30 and sleeps until about 7:00. I swear he is the smiliest baby! Hanging out with cousin, Everly.
