Saturday, September 13, 2008. We are getting out of here! Tomorrow at around 9 am we are headed home. Probably in time to meet the remains of Hurricane Ike. We want to thank everyone for their prayers. we are out 2 days ahead of the proposed schedule. Tara and I are exhausted and have no concept of time. Lily is pretty re-arranged as well, nights are days and visa versa. hopefully it won't take a real long time to re-adjust. When we get home I will upload all the pics we have been taking since her surgery.

Surrounded by family and some of her closest friends Lil enjoyed the day just about as much as a 1 year old could. Although if you ask her, she has regrets about puking up ice cream cake on her dad. I have to say it has been an incredible month, filled with some of the greatest moments of our lives. I have learned a ton as a new dad, and can only say that fatherhood is highly recommended. Monday, April 28, 2008. Bridget and Joe were able to watch Emily overnight on Saturday, and Maureen and I snuck off to the city for a fun night on the town. Our hotel also had a game room on the 6th floor, which had several tvs and game systems ready to go, so we had room service bring us a few beers and we played Rock Star / Guitar Hero for a little while also.
