My mom came to visit last week for 5 days to help us get organized and to get her fill of Joseph before her and my dad head to the Mediterranean for an awesome vacation for their 40th anniversary! Congratulations Mom and Dad! She was a huge help and it was great having her here. For the 4th we headed to downtown Houston for a big festival/concert/fireworks show. We also checked out our community pool which is pretty awesome! Can't wait for her next visit! View my complete profile.

The Ducotes: Jersey Shore
http://theducotesinhawaii.blogspot.com/2011/07/jersey-shore.html
Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Last week we headed to the east coast for a little over a week to spend time with family and friends. We started the week at Point Pleasant on the Jersey Shore with Rich's family. There were 16 of us in our house and about 30 people in the Faiella house a few houses down. We had a great time! We spent a lot of time at the beach. And some time hanging at the houses. We chilled in the backyard in the pool and on the slip and slide. Playing games and hanging out. The Weidas in Hawaii.

The MacDonalds: Frog Hunting
http://themacdonalds-alohafromhawaii.blogspot.com/2015/08/frog-hunting.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. I'm glad my girls love nature and gross things like frogs, worms and such because they truly loved being out in Pungo (minus the deer flies! They'd catch a random frog during the day, but had two specific frog hunting nights with the neighbor girls (ew! Luke and I sat out the first hunt (it was past bedtime) but I'm pretty sure they caught around 30 frogs (I think they are actually toads). Luke with a frog on his knee! I think he was playing dead in hopes of being set free!

The MacDonalds: November 2014
http://themacdonalds-alohafromhawaii.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Baby to Boy overnight! Each of these HUGE milestones probably deserve a post of their own, BUT since I'm soooooo far behind, they'll get squeezed into one! There was no way I was attempting taking away the pacifier nor potty training until we were settled into our new house and finally into a routine again. The amount of summer traveling and airplane flights would have been torture for all! All three kids were wawa babies and I couldn't imagine raising one who wasn't! He was...

http://theducotesinhawaii.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Growing up going out to a restaurant was only saved for special occasions and whenever we did go out my parents always reminded us to use our "restaurant manners." Rich and I have some work to do with Joseph using his "restaurant manners". Maybe we should start with not having his high chair on the table :). Monday, June 20, 2011. Midway games, and lots of crazy carnival rides. We had a great day of checking out the sights,. And cooling off with ice cream!
