Pacey's 'little' Grand Design. Skip to primary content. Our Home The Start. The builders have blocked up the rear access so well I couldn’t get into the garden to take any pictures last night. But I managed to take a few before the builders started this morning after they opened it up. No more rear bay. The kitchen window has been removed and the kitchen has been stripped. Height of the steel they need to put in. This is one big steel! Round the back the soak away is in. Today the drains went in.

Walls are getting taller! Having a wee is interesting. You get a good view of the floor below. Our new water pipe. Out with the lead, in with the blue plastic. Data cables and sky will be run to the fireplace aka the av hub. We have a door and some windows! The roof has started to be boarded out and the insulation is going in. Boarding of the roof is now complete. Just need to board the steels. Not long and it will start to look more like a room. The floor still has to be levelled.
