This is a place to keep track of our paddling around Comox and Vancouver Island. Friday, 7 June 2013. We haven't been on the water since the last time but I have been very busy MacGyvering stuff for the kayaks. One of the "things" was this. Its a rod holder made with an old milk crate, zap straps and cut PVC pipe. It straps on the front deck of the kayak and as you can see, it hold rods, a net and tackle on the inside. Can't wait to go fishing in the kayak! You pull on the white string and lower the boat.

This is a place to keep track of our paddling around Comox and Vancouver Island. Tuesday, 4 June 2013. Angie and I went for our first paddle in our new Kayaks. We bought 2 Necky Looksha 17. We launched just a little south of the boat ramp at Point Holmes. Not the best place to launch a kayak as it is very rocky. We were careful not the scratch the new boats. We dropped off a crab trap in about 50' of water and paddled south to the Goose Spit. 4 June 2013 at 21:06. BTW We will be in the Nanaimo area July ...

Magicman65 Adventures around the World! Saturday, 19 April 2014. Cool caches and cool places! I have been grabbing some interesting caches in the last few months since my last blog. I have also been doing a bit of travelling(and caching). We recently went to Alberta for a quick trip to visit with my family. I flew into Edmonton to meet up with my wife(Angelcheeks) who had driven to Alberta the week before. We stayed in Edmonton and Fort Saskatchewan which is where I grew up. We even grabbed a cache.

So I noticed one evening a cache. So after dropping him off, I headed to the cache, almost 10 hours after it was published.
