Katie's Blog: August 2008
http://katiemacleod.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 30, 2008. Ergo, Jessica posted a new blog. Which reminded me of how painfully behind I am on my blogging. Hmm What has happened since our trip to Blanco? Clayton left for South Africa. Michael, Steven, Jessica, Kaitlin and I went to South Padre for a week. The 720 Band led worship for the Wedgwood congregation. Jessica left for Uruguay. Steven and Michael started school. Kaitlin and I moved back into DBU and started classes. We also did a Night of Worship last Thursday. It went reall...

The Adventures of a Traveler: October 2008

The Adventures of a Traveler. Thursday, October 30, 2008. Before We Head to the End of the World. I need to update you on the past two weeks, as promised! First, I want to mention something about Brazil that I forgot to put in my last post. In Brazil the main language spoken is Portuguese, so it was strange to suddenly be in yet another. Country where we didn't know the language again! Talk about getting your languages confused! Anyways, last weekend Jordan, my roommate Alex, and I went to Piriápolis!

Friday, November 28, 2008. Too Much is Never Enough. Musically, at least. So over the past month, I have acquired many new CD's. Thankfully, I have been blessed with some music-obsessed people in my life who feel it is their obligation to expose me to all of their favorite bands. But I have created for myself an interesting problem. Now on my iPod, the number of songs I have NOT listened to, almost outnumbers the number of songs I HAVE listened to. I love music, no doubt about it. In a good way, of course.

The Adventures of a Traveler: Two More Weeks...
http://theadventuresofatraveler.blogspot.com/2008/11/two-more-weeks.html
The Adventures of a Traveler. Thursday, November 27, 2008. It is so hard to believe that we now have less. Than two weeks here in Montevideo. I'm excited to come home and see everyone, but I know I'm going to miss South America a TON. People here have been getting ready for Christmas for the past couple weeks, which has felt so weird since it is now summer here. And it definitely feels like it! Speaking of, Happy Thanksgiving to everyone back home! I know there were a lot of things I was planning on writ...

Katie's Blog: December 2007
http://katiemacleod.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 26, 2007. The family has gone and now it's just us again. All-in-all it was a pretty good holiday, in my opinion. There was a lot of food and stuff like that. Santa brought me the cell phone I wanted :D :D :D. So I've spent these past couple of days playing with it and trying to figure everything out. Also, Tanner and I teamed up with my cousin to form the band, Justin's Girl. We are currently VERY big in Europe. Rock Band is awesome. Anyway. Now I'm counting down to our Ruidoso.

Katie's Blog: January 2008
http://katiemacleod.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 13, 2008. Some things about growing up totally suck. Like increased responsibilities, lack of sleep, more homework, having to get a job, attempting to establish independence, figuring out how to pay for school and trying to convince your parents that they can't control you like they want to anymore. However, on the other hand, some things about growing up totally rock. Like being able to go on a road trip with your best friends sans parents. God is so good to us. Wednesday morning dawned ...

The Adventures of a Traveler. Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Of Excursions and Birthdays [Catch Up Post]. Sorry it has been so long since I wrote in this last! A lot has been going on. Which also means that if I don't update this now, I'm never going to be able to catch you all up with everything. I'll try to cover all the major things that have happened since last time I posted. Buenos Aires was incredible in itself. It is called the Paris of South America and with good reason - it is HUGE. I thou...That ...

Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Music Minded or Empty Minded? As we all know, music is a huge part of my life. I'm always happy when I'm involved in some type of musical activity, whether it's analyzing chords in Theory or screwing up songs in praise band so Michael gives us all that famous 'dirty look', it just gives me so much joy to do anything musical. Every page of my prayer journal for the past two weeks has contained that sentiment. So here you go, my first internet poetry/songwriting debut. Not in...

The Adventures of a Traveler: ¡Brasil!
http://theadventuresofatraveler.blogspot.com/2008/10/brasil.html
The Adventures of a Traveler. Monday, October 27, 2008. I think all my posts on here are going to end up being long ones. I really should start updating this more often. This post, however, will only be about Brazil. I'll try to update again soon with everything that has happened since then. Two weeks ago we all went to Iguazu Falls, Brazil for the week. It was such an amazing trip! Brazil is beautiful. At times we were literally in the rain forest, it was so cool! We were told the saying that, "Argentin...
