Interestingly it contains an assortment of rules for Harad, the Serpent Horde, Far Harad, and the Corsair Fleets; and even has a massive 2,000 point "what if" scenario between the Great Armies of the Harad and Gondor. Monday, January 28, 2008. Lord of the Rings Grand Tournament 2008. Has posted his revelations from this year's early 2008 Grand Tournament. Here's a general overview of his experience. 144 players came to the tournament. Community and banter between players. No free water bottles. Supposedly was extremely hard for non-LotR buffs. Almost nothing about the game rules and mostly trivia from the books, average was 6/14. More hero armies than last year. More armies with the big guns like Dragon, Balrog, Sauron.

Website the campaign will consist of all 18 missions from the The Fellowship of the Ring. Journeybook. A few new rules will be added, right now we are playing around with adding rules for modifying the members of the fellowship. Such as using Glorfindel or Gildor rather than someone like Legolas.
