View from the Bench. Who lied and told you life would EVER be fair? A few random thoughts on our vacation detailed in the previous post. Pittsburgh, at least the North Shore, seems to close up shop on Friday nights. There was only one place open on the street where our B&B was. Boston was the most pedestrian-friendly city we visited. You could not pay me enough to live and/or work in New York City. Baltimore’s Inner Harbor was the best place to people-watch. Cleveland has a very nice fireworks display.
