The Barbaloneys: November 2008
http://thebarbaloneys.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
An attempt to join the 21st century and its version of a family diary. Friday, November 21, 2008. We finally got our computer back last week. It was running very slowly and then just stopped running. My friend Rich performed the magically deeds and it works beautifully now- thanks Rich! Which is only about 10 minutes from our house. Aine enjoying the water. The columns in the background were saved from the Capitol building when then were doing a 19th century addition. Aine trying to feed the (hungry) koi.

September 18, 2008. Man, we sure miss Mike and Casey. Boy do we miss Mike and Casey! Colin talks about them all the time. While eating cereal for breakfast he sadly said, "You know Dad, Uncle Casey likes Honey Smacks." Before bed he tried to describe how Uncle Mike can do a backflip. And as for me, well, the best way that I can sum up my feelings is to quote what Champ Kind said to Ron Burgundy on the movie "Anchorman":. Come visit again soon! September 16, 2008. Boise in da house! Mike and Casey put up ...

Smith Family Days: May 2012
http://tkjwsmith.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 30, 2012. Sometimes we don't realize when God is protecting us. Other times we can see it clearly. Whether it be physical or spiritual protection, the Lord is at work more than we know. If he hadn't I wouldn't be sitting here writing this. Sometimes I think He just wants us to know that He's there, He's got us. Don't worry. Do bad things happen? Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Walker and his best friend JT. Kindergartners can be really silly. My sweet baby is growing up. Tony and his little twin.

Nothing But Possibilities: February 2008
http://nothingbutpossibilities.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Nothing But Possibilities" is a phrase that has two interpretations. First, hope: The world holds endless possibilities and opportunities for everyone. Second, sobering: Those opportunities will remain only possibilities if I don't go after them. Cheesy? Maybe, but don't knock my source of inspiration. Speaking of inspiration, my blog does not presume to be such a source, but instead, a repository of notes, mutterings and partially coherent thoughts which I happen to log from time to time.
