Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Haidyn’s 1st Birthday Party. We celebrated Haidyn’s birthday on Saturday, November 26th. It seemed like we were cheating to have her party several weeks before her actual birthday, but we really wanted both of our families to be here. It ended up working out perfectly. It’s been fun to have a friend Haidyn’s age and another mom to talk to about everything. We’ve also been taking advantage of the beautiful weather by playing outside…a LOT. Friday, September 30, 2011. September flew by in a flash. I honestly don’t even know what just happened, it was that fast. We enjoyed a trip to Oklahoma over Labor Day weekend, a visit from my great friend Susan the next weekend, and our fifth anniversary on the 29th. 160; After our exercise Susan taught me how to make cake balls and other fun treats. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. Seeing Papa. She loved his moustache. With Savta and Papa (and the infamous mis-matched pants). Friday night the girls (me, my sister, Savta and Sarah Glasser) went to see Jersey Boys at the Fox Theater. The show was very entertaining, and we all had a great time. Monday, April 30, 2012. April was another busy month around here! 160; After we returned from Kansas City, I left the next Tuesday to go to Corpus Christi. It was my first official business trip EVER! Sunday, May 20, 2012. We actually stayed in town for the month of May, and it was a nice change of pace. We’ve really enjoyed the beautiful weather and the beginning of summer. I had the most wonderful Mother’s Day with my two favorite people…. My view at brunch…love. Waiting for our tropical sno. Isn’t Mother’s Day the perfect time to try a sno cone for the first time?
