The Jacobs' journey: The Song That Spoke Twice
http://jeannejourney.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-song-that-spoke-twice.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. The Song That Spoke Twice. I started this a couple of weeks before Christmas but just now finished it). I heard it again. The song. The one that played on the radio just hours after my mom passed away. I want to be that kind of grandma. I want my home to always be welcoming and warm when my kids and grandkids come. I want to be so intimate with God that I will never leave impressions of myself but only that of Him and His Son, Jesus. Posted by Jeanne Jacobs. My Own White House.

Wednesday, November 28, 2012. A Little Chicken Drama. Well, drama might be a little dramatic but after a month of real estate drama I'm ready for another kind so that's where I'm going with it. You just never know what those rascals will do when you're not looking! And now we can play a game that Kaylee always used to enjoy when she watched Sesame Street. One of these things is not like the other. I've snitched on her to her owner and she'll be kept at home for a couple of days. But then as soon as s...

Tuesday, October 2, 2012. One-Year-Old Party and Recipe: Salads in Phyllo Shells. My little niece Clara is now a one-year-old! This past weekend, fifty of the family's closest friends and relatives celebrated with my sister and brother-in-law at their lovely home. It was a triumph, with Clara successfully smashing her confetti cake and coating herself in pink frosting! Here is a select list of the items served which would be great for any party, regardless of the age of the "child! For that gourmet flare.

Monday, February 13, 2012. Service to the Customer. As Valentine's Day is less than 24-hours away, one can't help but be inundated with over-used phrases such as "I love you! You rock" and "U R cute". These one-size-fits-all vernacular threaten the importance of the original connotation of these words. But, today's entry is not intended to be a lecture on romantic phraseology. Rather, my focus today is on the related loss of the meaning of another phrase: Customer Service. Links to this post.

Saturday, September 7, 2013. Dusting Through the Years. Every once in awhile I get a little overwhelmed with life and wish for someone to clean my house. But this morning as I was dusting I was reminded of a blessing. As I dusted Bob's guitar case as I have for 30 years, it just hit me that I've dusted that guitar case for 30 years! I honestly have never considered dusting much at all other than a dreaded chore. But it was pretty fun today to realize that even dusting has its advantages. Me and my family.
