The past and present. Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Today I met a friend who is going through a divorce. She shared that she has been married for 8 years. She confesses that she wouldn't have made the move, if it had not been for this person she met. As I watched her facial expression when she describes how she had felt over the last8 years, I couldn't help but to reflect what I was going through. The past and present. Sunday, June 21, 2009. Strange…time indeed flies when you are occupied. Let’s see…we had the kenduri tahlil last weekend and that turned out alright, alhamdulillah. though I was a bit disappointed with the turn-out and not to mention the “catering” blunders by his beloved aunt.Yikes, tq God for giving me the strength not to start swearing and be grateful for what has been presented. The past and present. Friday, August 21, 2009. I've now learnt to deal with the situation and by that I've asked myself - what options do i have? Learn to deal with it and try to make it better or get out of it? I could continue to feel awful this whole time and keep it inside me.until I asked myself that would ultimately benefit me how? And yes, finally i came to a conclusion. I'm glad to see effort made but more importantly, I hope it will be sustained. Here's to a better tomorrow; insya'llah.
