Thursday, May 30, 2013. We're now entering one of my favorite times of the year to go to my local farmer's market or grocery store. I absolutely LOVE walking into the store or perusing the farmer's market and seeing loads of fresh strawberries, peaches, apricots, nectarines and cherries. I had my first peach of the season a couple of days ago and immediately went to the store to buy more. As long as there's fruit, eat away? THE PASTRY POSTS FRESH PEACH CRISP. Let me count the ways…. 1 I first made it a few months back and since have probably made it twice a month. I think once I made it four times in a two week span. It’s that good. 2 There’s bacon in it. 3 Even if you don’t like Brussels sprouts, I guarantee you will like this pizza. The sprouts pretty much cook in the bacon fat and nothing can beat that. 4 It’s easy.
