The Patchwork Home

Friday, 8 July 2011. Last Saturday I attended my first sewing workshop run by the lovely Abi at SewYou Handmade. As I told Abi and the 3 other sewing students, I probably haven’t used a sewing machine in about 10 years and even then it was a school textiles project and my Mum did most of the actual sewing! Musings of a Patched Heart

Monday, February 25, 2013. Look What My Hands Have Made. My New Bed Skirt from Damask Table cloths. So of course, I had to put them to good use. Not only to remember them by, but also because these linens were so beautiful. Well in and among this bag were several antique, white, Damask, table cloths and of course dollies galore! My Sweet Little Lamp Shades. Believe it or not I decided to cut up(yes I did and yes I cringed when I did it! I found a self adhesive, designer shade at Joann Fabrics. AND it all...

The Patchwork Heart

Hello and welcome to Patchwork House . . . . . My little corner of the world on the NW coast of England, where you will find me addicted to colour and playing with yarn! The Photographer's Blanket 2015. Back in summer 2014. I had the pleasure of designing a special colourful granny blanket. For a photographer to use in her work with children. It gives me great pleasure to work with customers. And discuss a special make to suit their needs. Lorna wanted something traditional. In these beautiful photographs.

The Patchwork Homeschool | Home-Sweet-Homeschooling

About The Patchwork Homeschool. Little Hatchlings Playschool Website. Diarise special time together…. June 2, 2013. When last did you make special time alone with each of your children? Often I’ll be in the same room as my children, but we may as well be miles apart, because we’re not actually connecting on any deeper level than the normal day-to-day tasks. This time together gives us an opportunity to connect and communicate one-on-one in a happy and relaxing way. The Jesus Storybook Bible. June 2, 2013.
