Friday, May 30, 2014. This is a view of the Melbourne City buildings from the site of the Memorial Tower at Kangaroo Ground. As well sunshine there was a lot of cloud hanging around. We have experienced a warm Autumn this year and we have been enjoying the azalea blooms which we do not see until Spring. We have had some delightful weather in May with lots of days over 20c. Autumn is coming to an end and I expect we will be experiencing winter soon. That's all for now,. The little book of Nessie. A lovely...

My love affair with fabric commenced many years ago as a small girl with my mother teaching me to sew on her treadle sewing machine which is now one of my treasures. I have enjoyed involving myself in a lot of craft over the years. Macrame, pottery, tapestry and now patchwork is one of my enjoyable pastimes. A Sampler of Stitches.

The little book of Nessie: January 2015
http://thelittlebookofnessie.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 7, 2015. Last evening I saw the moon in the clear sky. This morning we awoke to all the fog. Which eventually cleared into a very warm summer's day of 35c. In the afternoon a storm developed and the temperature dropped to 24c. And there was some welcome rain for our garden. Of course the sun returned and the humidity rose and of course the temperature was again 35c. It is quite typical of our Melbourne weather that we have more than one season in a day! That's all for now,. My name is ...

What is happening in the Petals and Patches Studio? Cottage Garden Threads Club – June Project. This is a picture of my project that was in the June mailout for the Cottage Garden Thread Collectors Club. I really enjoyed stitching this design. I placed it in a frame, however it would look lovely on a cushion or in the centre of a small quilt. I have finally ventured into the world of Facebook and now get totally sidetracked from doing the things that need to be done. Oh, you can see the samples too while...
