The Pattern Slave: dull, I know.

I couldn't design my way out of a knitting bag. November 21, 2010. Dull, I know. But I got sick of paying for the pretty blog since Im falling so far behind on the blogging thing. Ravelry killed the blogiverse star. not that I was a star or anything. Far from it. Its just the tune (Radio killed the radio star) that runs through my head when I think about my poor neglected blog and all the others I used to read. . Nov 21, 2010 8:34:55 PM. I couldn't design my way out of a knitting bag. February 06, 2010. Look out for the pretty ones; they can be a real bitch. I have (well, had) two balls of yarn. One was already knit into a plain sock that didnt quite get over my ankle without some coaching. My error of course, b/c the yarn is never wrong. I friggin hate Mini Mochi! 0160; This shit sucks ass! 0160; This yarn as thoroughly pissed me off! Feb 6, 2010 5:46:19 PM. February 06, 2010 at 07:56 PM. The comments to this entry are closed. I couldn't design my way out of a knitting bag. January 11, 2010. Just some cuteness for the day. Jan 11, 2010 2:54:39 PM. When did she turn into a little girl? What happened to my snuggly baby? January 12, 2010 at 05:47 AM. The comments to this entry are closed. I have restarted the February Baby Sweater for a friend who had a little girl. I'm using Rowan Felted Tweed in a pretty grape color. It's not that hard a sweater IF you're paying attention. I have a massive migraine. On damn you Weight Watchers!

I couldn't design my way out of a knitting bag. March 18, 2010. Mar 18, 2010 1:16:45 PM. Get a card reader and move all your data to the micro SD card on the BB and then you can pull the micro SD out and put everything on your computer. (Or you could just move back to Atlanta and I would do it for you! March 20, 2010 at 04:36 PM. I gave up on the contacts. we couldnt get the bb to talk to the micro sd card to put the pictures from it onto someplace accessible. Will try again later this week.

Manahmaknits: May 2009

Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. A very busy weekend. So I've decided to make the move to Charleston. I've got this crazy idea of actually living with the man I'm married to. Novel concept, I know. Can you believe it will have been 2 years this August when he moved to SC? The upstairs hall bath is finally finished. Here's a pic of the nice tile floor I laid down a few weeks ago (see my marble threshold and everything! In other news, I discovered th...

Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Sunday, November 11, 2007. Flying by the seat of my pants. Whew This week has flown by. My Dad and uncle went to Scotland for a visit with their oldest brother who lives over there. He said he had a smashing time and is very tired and so has gone home to go to the grocery store and get some sleep. He's been on a plane all day long, as one would expect when flying across the pond, no? He's always waving that finger about. What a little...

Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Thursday, September 27, 2007. I woke up this morning and what to my wondering eyes did I see? I guess he took his sticky little feet and climbed up until he found a safe place. He did make the tiniest of beeps when I took his picture, tho. Just so you know! Wednesday, September 26, 2007. We interrupt this Ravelry session to bring you an actual blog post. I have been on ravelry. So, I give to you a random bunneh picture. Here's Oliver!

Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Saturday, December 29, 2007. Invasion of the alien life forms. Please do not pass out; I am indeed blogging. We had rain over the past 2 days. No one knew how to act. People were absolutely giddy about having wet shoes and bad hair. Nobody remembered how to drive and accidents were abundant. People went to the store and bought bread, eggs, and milk. Total chaos. This thing started growing. I call it the orange octopus. And took off over t...

Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Tuesday, June 17, 2008. My new house. Wherein there is mass destruction. Termites. I hates them. They eat things they should not and ignore the things they should. Because of them, this is what is in my living room right now. Bastiches. Did I mention that I hate them? I'll stop now before I start spiraling. There used to be a 2"x 10" piece of lumber here. Now it's confetti. And the board it's nailed in to? But enough of painful activities...

If seen, please do not approach it as it should be considered wet and slippery and handled only whilst paying close attention and using two hands. Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Monday, October 29, 2007. Lost in Fiber Space. We went to SAFF. This weekend. I'm still having trouble remembering what happened. The yarn fumes overwhelmed the four of us as soon as we walked in the door. The first thing we saw when we walked in Friday morning was this:. T was like Christmas, but better. Then we gathered our wits about us and the buying commenced. I also bought cashmere from Miss Babs. We also saw disapproving Llamas.

Knitting. Life. And the use of the former to deal with the latter. Saturday, November 29, 2008. Passing of a Noodle. This is a sad post, folks, though many of you will think I'm silly. The day finally came that my little rat, Noodle, could go no further. She had cancer and we knew that the time to say goodbye would come soon. We had her put down last evening. She died peacefully with me holding her and skritching her little noggin to the end. Give a rat a chance, you won't be sorry. Visit the GARMCA.

The Patterns In The Noise
The Patterns In The Noise. Sunday, February 2, 2014. Damn you, Russell Wilson! In high school, Russell Wilson was told he was too short to be a quarterback. He went on to become an all-state player and toss 74 touchdown passes over his junior and senior years as the starting quarterback. His first year as an NFL quarterback he manages to throw for over 3000 yards, rush for almost 500, and toss 26 touchdown passes and only 10 interceptions. He guides his team to the playoffs. The Patterns of God
The Patterns of God. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is- his good, pleasing and perfect will. God reveals and establishes Himself to us through His patterns: through His pattern of behavior and through His love for us. In The Book of Isaiah 55:8 (ESV) God tells us "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways". The Biblical Basis for Patterns:. Son of man, tell the p...
