http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
I have nothing to say. Friday, May 21, 2010. So it has been a little over a month since my last post. AND boy what a month it has been. I have so much to write about.but not right now.stay tuned for future posts. I am currently in El Paso. TX for Husband's brother's wedding. It is a little down time from my exhausting job (yup, that's right, I have a job) but so far has not been at all relaxing. Me: My whole body hurts this morning. I have bruises EVERYWHERE! H: Why of course. H: (the sound of crickets).

empty smith: July 2009
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
I have nothing to say. Thursday, July 30, 2009. A few weeks ago Fiance told me that he had submitted an application for us to take a ride on a Navy destroyer. If selected we would get to take a 3-5 hour cruise that would take place during Fleet Week. Which is the kick off of Seafair. Weekend and is a pretty big deal up here. Much to Fiance's excitement we were selected and would be riding on the USS Momsen. The USS Momsen is the twenty-sixth destroyer of the Arleigh. So after a lot (A LOT! So instead of ...

empty smith: movin' on out
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2010/04/movin-on-out.html
I have nothing to say. Monday, April 19, 2010. Well it has been decided…I am moving back to Colorado. MOVING! So I drew up a little pros and cons list of staying up here:. I already live here. Close to water where you can see whales. Conveyor belt sushi joints. It’s not Colorado. I hate living here. No Family (well Husband has family here, none of which I have met in the 16 months I have lived here). Higher cost of living. All my best friends are in Denver. They watch baseball inside (because of Rain).

empty smith: home again, home again...
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2010/03/home-again-home-again.html
I have nothing to say. Monday, March 22, 2010. Home again, home again. After 15 days, 9 states, and 4328 miles, we are finally home. Although we spent 5 days in El Paso and another 5 days in Denver, it felt as if we spent the entire 15 days in a vehicle. We were always on the go, doing this and that, meeting up with people. The driving to and fro was never ending. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My name is Melinda. I have Brown hair now. View my complete profile. Follow me on Twitter.

empty smith: December 2009
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
I have nothing to say. Thursday, December 31, 2009. 2009 is going out the same way it came in…like a kick in the crotch. I wanted to do a cool photo montage of the past year, but what should have been easy has turned into a Herculean task. So instead you get a generic recap…. Snowiest winter in WA in 15 years. Saw the Space Needle. Lost my health insurance. Start looking for job. Watched the Mariners play baseball inside. Will it ever stop raining. Abe and Christy got engaged. Got to see the Blue Angles.

empty smith: Oro Grande, New Mexico
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2010/04/oro-grande-new-mexico.html
I have nothing to say. Sunday, April 11, 2010. Oro Grande, New Mexico. Oro Grande is located at the south east tip of the White Sands Military Reservation, about half way between El Paso, TX and Alamogordo, NM. The first time we drove through Oro Grande we were heading up to the New Mexico Museum of Space History. That would be because Oro Grande is not a ghost town at all. While I would guess the population as less than 20 people, there are people there. Woo hoo for the golden hour! Follow me on Twitter.

empty smith: August 2009
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
I have nothing to say. Tuesday, August 25, 2009. A whale of a fish story. My friend Jenn from Denver has been staying with us for the last couple of days. We have been all over the place taking photos. Yesterday we drove up to Edmonds. As we turn to head back for gear my phone rings. While in the process up answering my phone I look up and see 4 dark grey tales slip back into the water about 20 feet from the shore. At first because. Two adult females and 2 calves. And it figures. And I think thats hot.

empty smith: January 2010
http://emptysmith.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
I have nothing to say. Wednesday, January 20, 2010. I live in a state that has these…. You know, because a little ol' mountain can go from looking like this one day…. 8230;to looking like this the next. And when this one decides to go all kablooy…. 8230;they say it could cause one of these. My reason…because lava is sooooo cool looking and I want to take pictures of it and poke at it with sticks. At first I was like ‘wow, why weren’t we taught in school? 8217; One would think that learning that the 33rd ...
