Friday, 5 April 2013. Yesterday, I wrote after a very encouraging email. Approved. Later, in the evening (morning in Taiwan) I got an email with the subject line 'get started! I had asked if we should go ahead and do our home study update when it runs out (which is soon anyway) or if we should just wait so that it would last longer ie: do it right before we get a referral. The email message that followed was even more exciting than the subject:. Please get started as soon as possible! You are very close!

Monday, March 25, 2013. Yesterday I pulled out Chloe's 12 month summer clothes and put away a lot of 6 month things that are too short now. It is always so exciting to get out new clothes and clear some drawers. I can't wait until she can actually wear some of it. Today my sister thought she had jury duty so she took the day off but then ended up not having to do it so she came over! We are trying to extend Chloe's awake time to 2 1/2 hours between naps so with that extra 1/2 hour, we tried the pool again.

Saturday, June 22, 2013. I posted some of these pictures on Facebook so they may be repeats for some. Miss Chloe and I went outside with some cloud dough, water and spoons. Cloud dough is flour mixed with vegetable oil and creates a moldable dough. It is edible so I didn't have to worry about her eating it but also tastes terrible so she really didn't. This kept her engaged for over an hour! It took her awhile to dive into the Cloud Dough. She spent some time with the spoons and water first.

Tuesday, August 28, 2012. Life with Chloe is starting to be, on most days, predictable. For the last week she has slept swaddled between each nighttime nursing which has been fantastic! Chloe is taking baths without the infant insert now. She still doesn't like baths but she doesn't cry through them either. We started taking them in the mornings because she is so fussy at night when she gets tired that it was way too stressful. One day she will LOVE them but for now, she gets cold.
