Monday, January 11, 2010. God in our Traditions. So my sister-in-law Teri gave me the book by Noel Piper (John Piper's wife) called "Treasuring God in our Traditions". I am LOVING it! Piper talks a lot about heirlooms, and traditions.that there is a difference in passing down the old fur coat or the family recipe.although both worthy and a great thing.the tradition of Christ in the home is the most important to pass down. But there was shade, especially when. The tree was old: the leaves were thick.

As good as it is this is not a blog about ketchup. Thursday, March 13, 2008. South Africa - Sunday (Mar 2). Sunday started out much as Saturday had. The previous evening I had enjoyed a nice dinner at the Garden Route Game Lodge and then just relaxed enjoyed the extremely clear African sky. When I woke up in the morning I joined a number of other guests at the Land Rovers to begin our morning tour of the ranch. Springbok, elephant and others. Here are a few pictures from the tour. Is a big whale watching...

As good as it is this is not a blog about ketchup. Tuesday, August 7, 2007. Here are a few more pictures from our time in Paris. Posted by Llew and Lisa. Ben and Lisa both started back to school yesterday. It's kind of crazy really. Seems like the summer just disappeared on us. One thing that struck both Lisa and I is that Ben now takes naps at school on a mat and eats lunch in the common lunch room. It really feels like he's growing up and he's not even 2 yet. A very weird feeling. Friday, August 3, 2007.

As good as it is this is not a blog about ketchup. Tuesday, July 8, 2008. Fun Moment with Ben. Lisa, Ben and I met for lunch today. Nothing unusual there. We usually like to do this a few times over the summer when we can. What was surprising was Ben ordered his own lunch. The waitress asked what we wanted and, before Lisa or I could say anything, he piped right up that he wanted chicken fingers and squash casserole. It was a cool growing up moment that I was glad Lisa and I got to share.

Books and stuff…. Days Go By…. October 30, 2008. Posted by shaesweeney under Random. Thankfully, i made it through! It’s been crazy! I stayed a few hours late tonight and finished up things at work, ran a few late night errands, stopped by to say goodbye to my small group (since i couldn’t stay long), paid bills with my roommate, washed clothes, prayed with my friend anna, talked to the fam, and then started packing.
