Sunday, August 31, 2008. Wonders at the Milwaukee Public Museum. Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Cafe Hollander is one of our favorite places in Milwaukee. Just across from the Downer cinema, this corner cafe offers amazing Belgian beer, a bubbling fountain and a little taste of Europe. With a five year old in tow, we refrained from the excellent beer, but the kids menu is just right too. Without a doubt, this a place to come back to, when you have a reliable babysitter and a driver who doesn't love beer.

Tuesday, August 5, 2008. Views from the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee. Ok, we know that kids aren't supposed to hang out in swanky cocktail lounges, but make an exception for Blu, the Pfister's 23rd floor lounge. Everyone will love the view, though the only non-alcoholic thing on the menu may well be the chocolate covered strawberries. Still, we had a marvelous time with our five year old, who gobbled up the straweberries and magnificent view of Lake Michigan and Milwaukee's skyline. Welcome to Fun Milwaukee.
