THE PICKLED HUTCH: Soul Food Farm May 2015

http://thepickledhutch.blogspot.com/2015/06/soul-food-farm-may-2015.html

ANTIQUES AND A POODLE. Wednesday, June 10, 2015. Soul Food Farm May 2015. This "Admit One" necklace was inspired by this years show. I might have to keep it to wear at these events. I love this sweet overnighter with all it's original components. I whipped out a dozen of these for the show. The hot ticket were the heart bottles where you could write different messages. This tower of tic tac toe pillows added a burst of color. These original plaster medallions drew a lot of attention throughout the show.

THE PICKLED HUTCH: Random Sharing

http://thepickledhutch.blogspot.com/2015/06/random-sharing.html

ANTIQUES AND A POODLE. Friday, June 19, 2015. I'm just sharing some random pictures from the store this week. Finally finishing this little birdcage style chandelier for a very patient client. First part of the week was busy with a visit from Mom. We have such a nice time that I hate when she has to leave. Alfie was in puppy heaven with all the cuddling. Redo finished of birdcage chandelier. Check! New jewelry display. Still have to finish the mannequin and give her a decent bottom! Alfie is such a cutie!

http://thepickledhutch.blogspot.com/2015/04/now-that-taxes-are-done.html

ANTIQUES AND A POODLE. Thursday, April 09, 2015. Now that taxes are done. Photo of Pascale taken at Soul Food Farm by my friend Ingrid. One of my favorite photos of her! I can now focus on getting prepped for the antique marketplace at Soul Food Farm. For all your hard work in creating such a unique, inviting event. You two are a class act! I am honored that you asked me to participate and look forward to round two. In the meantime, it's prep, prep, prep. A few pictures from last year. Hope you can make ...

Magnolia's Meadow: April 2010

http://magnoliasmeadow.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Carpet Vs. Hardwood. And the hardwood wins hands down! Landlady gave me permission to rip the carpet out of the living room, which is the only room that has it. A test strip shows very pretty hardwood underneath, so I'm excited! I'm just not a carpet person. Another record-breaking warm day for us today. It's beautiful outside. We're expecting storms tomorrow which I'm definitely looking forward to. Nothing like a nice spring thunderstorm! Have a great day, everyone!

Magnolia's Meadow: November 2010

http://magnoliasmeadow.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 8, 2010. Trying To Gear Up. Only 46 days until Christmas 2010. Un-be-liev-a-ble. This year has to be a part of some kind of rift in the space-time continuum. Where did the year go? Where has my life gone? Either way, it's coming whether I like it or not. How do I act as if I'm the jolliest of jolly for my daughter's sake? How do I make it happy for her when I'm absolutely miserable? I wish I could talk to Mom. :(. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). So glad you stopped by to visit!

Good start, eh? So how do you feel about gastric bypass? Have you been told to get it - or have you gotten it? I would love to hear thoughts or experiences. So says Mama Brook. Congrats on your loss! Congrats on your skates! You go, girl! I had no idea you were so young. I hated that when people said that ot me when I was your age. Aaack, Im old enough to be your mother! My take on gastric bypass? Not for me, no, thanks. To each his/her own, though. I think youll do fine with waht youre doing! I think it...

This picture makes me smile. Joan and Pyrex. What more do I need to say? So says Mama Brook. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I'm Brook - mother and wife by day, fridge-robber by night. I've decided to expose myself to the world (not like that, jeez) and write about my weightloss journey. My other intrests include Elvis, anything midcentury, and homemade meals. What We Do For Our Four-Legged Friends. Them do for us! Yesterday was my dog Vito's 10th birthday. Getting into the spirit, I decided to have a party with doggies and adults. For some reason Vito loves Bichons and Havenese, so his close friends were there to celebrate. My friend Lisa generously donated her house for the festivities! Forgive Vito's bad behavior. 27 (yes, $27). For an organic dog birthday cake from a dog bakery. Hope they enjoyed it! Little treats for the guests. Are you kidding me? You ma...

Serendipity: February 2010

Wednesday, February 17, 2010. What a great project for using old books. I saw this project in a magazine and couldn't resist trying it out. Start with an old paperback book. Tear off the cover and the back. Then just fold each page to the center. When you get done, glue the front and back together and you have a great little pillar to hold a treasure or add some height to a vingnette. Links to this post. Links to this post.
