The Pie Hole Project: Jamaican Meat Patties

http://thepieholeproject.blogspot.com/2011/04/jamaican-meat-patties.html

Saturday, April 16, 2011. I think it's fairly obvious that a lot of the pies I want to try and make are products of nostalgia. I have no idea how Jamaican Patties. Became a common quick meal or afternoon snack but they were totally our version of hot-pockets growing up. This is another thing that we never really cooked at home. No secret family recipe.they were strictly from the box in the freezer section. Flaky pastry surrounding a spicy meat filling. Yum! Is where I found a recipe to try. 1 Egg, beaten.

The Pie Hole Project: Orange Dreamsicle Pie

http://thepieholeproject.blogspot.com/2010/12/orange-dreamsicle-pie.html

Monday, December 20, 2010. It is actually called Fluffy Orange Pie, but it tastes just like an Orange Dreamsicle so that is what we have re-named it. It is the EASIEST pie I could find, which at this time of year is a necessity. But it turned out to be really good. I might be ...

The Pie Hole Project: Cannoli Pie!

http://thepieholeproject.blogspot.com/2010/10/connoli-pie.html

Friday, October 22, 2010. We decided we wanted to do something easy this last week. I needed something simple after the week I had had. Http:/ www.razzledazzlerecipes.com/quickneasy/pie/cannoli-cre. This was super easy and delicious, and it makes two pies. There are a few changes we would make however. Cast of characters. Artistically displayed a la Kimmy. You have to have your crusts made and fully cooled prior. Filling is just the pudding, the milk, the cream cheese, the almond extract, etc. I might be...

Saturday, October 1, 2011. Ice Cream Sundae Pie. We are back from pie-iatus and have some super great new pies to share! This Ice Cream Sundae Pie Recipe. Pie Hole

Recipes That Are Easy As Pie. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Cream of Crab Soup. I'm really into soups this Winter, so you'll probably be seeing a few more before warm weather hits. Although, I hear it could get up to the high 60's around here this weekend! Regardless, I still think you should whip up this soup for your family and friends. I posted a photo of this meal on Facebook the night I made it (yes, I Instagram my food sometimes, zip it! I noted what I did change below.). Cream of Crab Soup. Mix 1T o...

We cook good and eat good. Monday, July 20, 2015. How I Cook Chanterelle Mushrooms. 1 Obtain 1 pound of chanterelles. They should be firm and cheddar-yellow. Don't refrigerate them; they're not cold-weather fungi like store-bought button mushrooms. 2 Gently rinse with cold running water any soil, grass, or bugs from chanterelles; scissor off any tough, brown, or bug-eaten stems. You don't need to get every dark speck off every mushroom. 3 Allow the cleaned mushrooms to dry for a while on a towel. 3 cups ...
