The Traveling Pineapple: Inner Space Cavern
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007/08/inner-space-cavern.html
Saturday, August 11, 2007. August 4, 2007. In 1963, the Texas Highway Department began testing the ground in Georgetown to build I-35. They started drilling holes to test the strength of the ground. This is when they discovered Inner Space Cavern. Naturally, they went ahead and built the highway right over the cavern. If you do touch anything, you turn into black and white statues from the 1960s. Here are a bunch of other picutres I took of the cavern. That about sums it up! When i was a kid in central t...

The Traveling Pineapple: May 2007
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 31, 2007. Wednesday, May 30, 2007. Where in the world was Pineapple? May 11, 2007. I'm in New York. Oh, that's just the other. Statue of Liberty in front of the Midland County Courthouse. May 10, 2007. I guess they are expected big crowds because the parking lot is HUGE! But if by some chance, that many people wanted to visit at the same time they couldn't all fit inside. I guess they would have to visit the gift shop next door. Thursday, May 17, 2007. Garden City, Texas. May 9, 2007. This ...

The Traveling Pineapple: That's A Wrap
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007/10/thats-wrap.html
Friday, October 26, 2007. Last year, mad. Had a fantastic idea that I start a photo blog to show off all the super fun places that I went for work. If you read my other blog, The Pineapple Report. Then you know that I no longer have the job that took me to the fabulous small towns of Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma depicted on this blog. I'm still taking pictures and I've even been to Aggieland since my August post (thanks for pointing that out Evil Spock. Tags: The Pineapple Report. Make your own viagra.

The Traveling Pineapple: I always enjoy a pun!
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007/07/i-always-enjoy-pun.html
Monday, July 09, 2007. I always enjoy a pun! Cops and Joggers instead of Cops and Robbers! Well, when I saw this, it got me thinking. Wouldn't it be more fun to watch the cops chase the robbers through a maze instead of a bunch of people running down the road? As a kid, Evil Spock ran from cops, but it didn't benefit anyone except Evil Spock. You prolific bloggers with your multiple blogs! Guess Evil Spock will have to link this one too . . . Don't be silly, they don't pull over a princess! Oh yeah, right.

The Traveling Pineapple: I-44 in Oklahoma
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007/07/i-44-in-oklahoma.html
Friday, July 13, 2007. June 13, 2005. Why not round it down to 15 or up to 20? You had to be driving the "speed limit" when you captured that photo. Actually, I stopped in the road to take this one. I'm sure the lady at the toll booth thought i was insane. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I finally got a camera and here are my pictures. Look at them now. (p.s. mad, this is entirely your fault for suggesting I start a photo blog). I always enjoy a pun! Pineapple Takes On Tide to Go. The Needs of the Few.

The Traveling Pineapple: Is that right?
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007/08/is-that-right.html
Friday, August 03, 2007. July 14, 2007. I've never been a new mother so I can neither verify nor dispute the truth of this statement. But either way, I thought it was a strange marketing ploy. You know, not everyone is a new mom. Does this mean that the non-new moms among us should be eating something else instead? Must be craving iron and calcium from their spawn depleting them of minerals and nutrients. But does that give them the market on cheeseburgers? If so, that doesn't seem very fair to me. Stick...

The Traveling Pineapple: The Big Texan
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007/08/big-texan.html
Friday, August 03, 2007. March 30, 2005. The Big Texan is a steakhouse, a motel, and a horse hotel. And they have a gift shop too. And a really big cows. You know how much I love fake animals! Do they make you sign a waiver in case of "stupid death"? No because this would fall under the category of honorable death in Texas. If Evil Spock wasn't a veggie, Evil Spock bets Evil Spock could conquer it. I'm sure you could! Holy shit, I bet that's no filet mignon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Traveling Pineapple: January 2007
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 30, 2007. I don't know what a mixed pork chop is, but. well, I don't know what a mixed pork chop is, do you? This post is brought to you by the letter "N". January 29, 2007. I saw this in Cuero (you may recall from an earlier post that Jesus is King of Cuero. I saw this at the HEB in Refugio. I particularly like the instructions on washing your hands between handling different species. Wow. Tags: Wash Your Hands. January 10, 2007. You Know You're a Rich Redneck. November 16, 2006. The Traveling Pineapple: February 2007
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 06, 2007. Why would you tuck this fabulous yard art away? If I had this, I would have it in my front yard, not on the side. But that's just me. The source of some excellent yard art comes from Odem, Texas. I hope that one day I will have time to go in and find my own special piece of art. Perhaps something in a pineapple? Please click on the photos to enlarge). This is their yard - well, part of their yard. And more of their yard. Love the sea serpent. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Traveling Pineapple: August 2007
http://thetravelingpineapple.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 16, 2007. August 10, 2007. This a picture of the famed "ica" building (also known as the Bank of America building run by people too lazy to fix the lights on their sign). I'm just saying. Saturday, August 11, 2007. August 4, 2007. If you do touch anything, you turn into black and white statues from the 1960s. You can buy furry hats in the gift shop. Nothing says "caverns" like a furry hat. But Sylwester does look really cute! Here are a bunch of other picutres I took of the cavern. Back ...
