I GOT A JOB! 9 months spent at horrific retail job. 1 summer spent trying to teach classes only. 2 days per week when I actually work all day. 45 resumes sent out. 0 calls for interviews. 2 walk-ins to retail stores. Just enough to keep me a little busier and get a few more dollars in my pocket. AND, it's within walking distance of our new place. Hello, not spending gas money sounds pretty great to me. Thursday, September 18, 2008. Yet another group of letters I knew nothing about till I married someone in the Navy. Today I went to my first ever Officers' Spouses' Club function - the "Aloha Coffee" for new members. OK! I felt nervous before I went - it seemed like it was going to be Sorority Rush all over again. Man, was I right! Some things actually were pleasantly surprising: first, there were a few men there! Hooray for the women having the career and the men following them around the world!

Easy is the new Bugaboo. This is the little stroller base that the Snugride car seat “snaps” into. It is so easy to break down and so very light that I can pick up the entire stroller if I need to. Review of the Mia. So I have been using the Clarisonic Mia since Mother’s Day- how long has that been? On another note, my little QVC box of Bobbi Brown goodies arrived, and I am so excited to try it tomorrow. The kits looks amazing with the perfect shades of lavender and brown and neutral lip colors.
