2014 Race for the Cure. Wednesday, August 7, 2013. Twas the Night Before Surgery . And I don't have any more rhymes for that, I'm just checking in! Tomorrow is the big day, and I'm very much looking forward to being on the other side of this surgery day. The kids have been so great this week about letting me know they are thinking of me. TJ came out of his regular 6-week orthodontist adjustment session with hot PINK rubber bands. At first I laughed and said, "You got pink ones? The Beach - My Happy Place!

Wednesday, September 4, 2013. 6 weeks is a long time to stay bandaged up and put medicine on 2x a day . but it is much preferred for me right now than heading back to the operating room. Again. I'll return to see the surgeon next Tuesday, and he'll look at the wound and maybe even if I'm lucky . the last surgical drain will be ready to come out one of these days!
