Monday, August 30, 2010. Our view from the balcony. We checked in on Friday, unpacked our bags, and did what comes natural to anyone who is at the beach for vacation. Put on our swimsuits and headed straight for the beach, of course! Spend a few hours at the beach, and then headed to a little restaurant in town. Did you know that the Riverbanks Zoo had a trained Alligator? There were so many people there we didn't get to see a lot that was going on. We enjoyed our icee's, and our carousel ride though. We arrived on Sunday afternoon to meet family that were all ready there. They were ready to celebrate Evan's 5th Birthday. Saturday, May 30, 2009. Our Latest Camping Trip. So we decided to take the kids camping for the weekend of May 15-17. It was Archaelogy Week and Red Top Mountain was doing some fun activities. We didnt get to many pics but here are a few. We did get rained on quite a bit but survived. This is Ally, Evan, and Lexi digging for artifacts. They each found some arrowheads that they got to keep. Monday, July 27, 2009. So I wake up to Lexi telling me Mommy, I cut my hair all by myself. Yeah, well she decided she wanted to chew gum while sleeping. We all know what happens when you go to bed with gum. So instead of telling me, she didn't want to get in trouble, she cut the gum out of her hair all by herself.
