Saturday, August 25, 2012. Calgary has a pretty decent zoo. I mean it doesnt compare to the Houston Zoo, which had animals that I hadnt even heard of. but its still pretty decent. I love zoos. I have tried and tried and tried to convince my kids to enjoy the zoo too. I havent been successful at all! What kid doesnt love watching animals? JAXON he loathes the zoo. he wants to get in and out of there as soon as possible. Any time I stop to look at something he says "Lets keep moving on! 6 month old babies!

Monday, February 13, 2012. Cajun Mac and Cheese. MMMMMM. I love food! I am spoiled and get the Food Network Magazine at my house. I love it! Every month I get tons of new recipes! Here is one I tried last week and LOVED! Its from the March 2012 issue (pg 90). Cajun Mac and Cheese. 12 Ounces Wagon wheel Pasta (I used bowtie). 2 Tbsp Olive Oil. 6 ounces Andouille sausage, diced (I used some sausage I found in my freezer). 2 bunches scallion, thinly sliced. 1 Bell Pepper, chopped ( I used red for some color).

We had fun anyways watching her open her gifts and once again eating more cake! This was the year of failed Birthday cakes! Everett's fell apart, Farah's has crumbs in the icing, and Julia's icing melted and all the candies slid down! Oh well I guess that's a sign I should just go easier on the cakes!
